There are three manufacturers of Japanese seed beads: Miyuki, Toho, and Matsuno. The Toho bead company is sponsoring a Bead Weaving Competition through Tambrook Beads of Portland, Oregon. There is a $25 fee and entry deadline of June 30th. Toho beads can be found at various retail bead suppliers. The online wholesale source for Toho is Tambrook beads. Incidentally, if you're in Tucson, they'll be at the Manning House, January 31st thru February 5th in the Rotunda, Booth RT67E. For an online retail resource check out General Bead at www.genbead.com (they mark their Toho bead entries with a "T"). If you enter, drop us a line, we'd love to say "Good luck!"
