Three New Bloggers!

Heather Powers: Heather has started a great little blog called Humble Beads which features her handmade beads. She also shares with her readers her finished work (gorgeous colors!) and.......did you know.....she's Beverly Herman's daughter?! There's lots of talent brewing over at Humblebeads, so be sure to check it out!

Aurora Fox: Aurora has a wonderful blog filled with all kinds of artsy things, including a lovely art journal of designs and thoughts. The name of her blog is Foxy Art Studio. She does bead crochet and is teaching a class at the Laci's Museum in Berkeley in April. She's written a great post about the museum, including photos of items from their exhibits. Apparently there is a Bead exhibit which is now online and you can access the exhibit by following the link provided in her post: Lace Needlework Heaven. Thank you for sharing, Aurora!

Art Bead Scene: The Art Bead Scene is a new online blog about....Art Beads! It's produced by a group of bead artists, including Melanie from Earthenwood beads (Ms. Bead-It-All), Heather (Humblebeads.com), Lori (Lori Greenberg Beads), just to name a few. This is a GREAT blog. The posts have featured important topics such as "conversational selling" and how to design with different bead styles. This blog has something for everyone from the hobbyist to the professional. And it's written by artists with lots of experience under their belts, so be sure to check out the Art Bead Scene blog!

Hello--Thanks for featuring me on your blog! I just love that the internet and blogging lets all of us beaders connect all over the globe. My name is not Aurora Mathews,(as you have me named oin your blog post) however--but Aurora Fox (hence the name of my blog---Foxy Art Studio--a play on my last name). Thanks for featuring the blog post about Lacis and their great Bead Exhibit--I'm off to the Exhibit reception in a few minutes...
