Jacqueline Lillie

To say I am a huge fan of this artist is an understatement. For those of you who are familiar with Jacqueline Lillie, you might know just how difficult it is to find examples of her jewelry online. I have recently stumbled across a gallery representing her work. The gallery is called "Sienna Gallery" and if you click on the title above, you will be redirected to four images of available pieces. These pieces will be part of a travelling exhibit. I hope you enjoy her beadwork as much as I do.

PS: Click on the tiny boxes below her bio to see her work. There are four of them.

Robin Atkins has launched a collaborative project called "The Bead Journal Project" which is slated to start in June. Participants can sign up with Robin by contacting her through her Blog. To read more about this great project, click on the title above!

Thank you to Linda and Melinda for alerting me to this project!

What's Your Time Worth?

Linda at Born Under A Bead Sign has just written an editorial looking at the price we place on our beadwork. She offers a wonderful perspective on the value of our time and what we are willing - or not willing - to charge for it. The title of the post is "The Hornets Nest: Pricing Fine Crafts" and can be found by clicking on the title above. Take a minute to read this insightful post on her blog, I highly recommend it. Linda is looking for some feedback from fellow beaders and would love to hear from you too!

Frany's Beautiful Beads

Frany has shared with me two more beautiful necklaces that she has woven. One is geometric, called "Cite d'Or" and I love this design. The other is called "Vue de Cote" and uses a pendant as a centerpiece. Both are lovely!!! Please click on the title above to see more of Frany's gorgeous work!

Phoenix Rising

Phoenix Rising is a website owned by Bette Kelley. She features a number of beautiful beaded collars. Her website is also in French! You can view her beadwork by clicking on the title above and then selecting an item from the list. She used to offer kits but now offers instructions to make a broadcollar. Bette's Waves collar was featured on the cover of Beadwork magazine's 2004 issue.
