Susan Fraerman of the Beaded Object is perhaps best known for her beaded shoes. Using a free form version of right angle weave, she decorates each shoe without pattern or a preconceived idea of decoration. Each shoe has a purpose however and reflects an issue about which Susan is greatly concerned. In addition to her shoes, she also has a series of beaded hands and bodices.
