Once: An Inspiration

It was one of those moments in life we all dream about - when the impossible becomes possible:

Two unknown street musicians, an Irishman named Glen Hansard and a Czech named Marketa Irglova, wrote a song called “Falling Slowly”. It was up against three songs from Disney's "Enchanted" for an Academy Award. When "Falling Slowly" was announced as the winner, the audience went wild. Glen gave a short speech and then the orchestra cut in and cut off Marketa. The two artists left the stage amid cheers from the crowd. The moment was so moving that the Academy brought Marketa back onstage to give her acceptance speech. In case you missed it, here are their inspiring words & why this moment was so wonderful:

"Once" is my totally favorite movie from last year; I bought the soundtrack immediately & have played it over & over. Maybe we should use the title, "Falling Softly" as a personal bead challenge.
