2008 Commemorative Bead

commemorative beadEach year, in celebration of the annual Bead and Button Show, a commemorative bead is designed by a lampwork artist. This year's bead is made by Kim Fields, known for her beautiful floral lampwork beads. The bead is available for purchase through the Bead & Button show - click on the title above and you'll be redirected to the order form. The B&B site is now listing this bead at extremely limited quantities. Order soon!!!

While you're at the Bead & Button Show site, be sure to check out the classes. There are a few that have sold out and some with limited seating, but also quite a few that are still open.

If you are unsure about which class to take, an absolutely beautiful design that you might enjoy - especially if you love all things vintage - is Diane Hyde's Vintage Echoes necklace (shown right). Diane does a beautiful job designing in the Art Nouveau tradition. Click HERE to go to her online class registration.
